The first Student360 was hosted on Saturday, February 11 at the Minneapolis campus of St. Mary’s University Minnesota—what a successful and engaging day!
We had a great turnout of students and professors from all over the state of Minnesota, some traveling several hours to get to Minneapolis for the event. Students were excited about this event and ready to learn and network with the speakers, affiliates and volunteers at the event.
Here’s some of the great feedback we received on Twitter from this event:
“@UMSAOrg #Student360 was action packed. Never a dull moment. From the presentations, keynotes, to the career pavilion; very informative!… Saturday well spent #Student360.” – @iamchiso
“At the inaugural #Student360 yesterday. Lunch panel was the highlight of the day. Good info from @BuseTweet, @bcaplin, & @bryanstrawser… After great #Student360, looking forward to last @Secure360 as a student.” – @adamsundermeyer
“Great chats today w/ future #CyberSecurity generation at #Student360. Lunch panelists @BuseTweet @bcaplin @bryanstrawser provide wisdom 🙂.” – @MN_ISSA

If you attended Student360, here’s what you need to know…
Thank you for attending and participating! As you know, this was our first student-based event, and we need your feedback. All students who attended will have received an email (to the address that they registered with) with a link to our student survey. Your feedback is important to us in order to help make this event the most beneficial it can be for students.
Fill out the survey by Friday, February 17—be sure to include your name and email address in the survey—and you will be entered into a drawing for one of our 3 free registrations to Secure360 Twin Cities 2017 in May!
We encourage all of our student attendees to consider attending Secure360 Twin Cities 2017 in May at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Secure360 Conference is the professional conference of choice for comprehensive security and risk management education and focuses on the following key focus areas: governance, risk and compliance, cybersecurity, physical security, business continuity management, and professional development. Learn more and register here.
If you need to provide a certificate of attendance to your professor or program advisor, you can access that here.
Again, we would like to thank all of our attendees, volunteers, staff, affiliates, sponsors and speakers for making this a fantastic first event!
