Secure360 has grown significantly every year, and in 2016 we were excited to announce and host our first expansion events. If you have currently attending Secure360 in the past, or you’re just hearing about our events for the first time, here’s a quick run-down of our conferences to help you plan which event you should be attending!

Secure360 Wisconsin

In 2016, after seeing the significant success of the Twin Cities event and the need for security discussions across the region, the UMSA board approved the first expansion events—one of which would take place in Wisconsin. In its first year, Secure360 Wisconsin received good feedback on how to make the event better.

This year Secure360 Wisconsin has moved to the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee on October 11-12 to better fit our attendee and sponsor needs. The lineup of great speakers includes: Charlotte Tschider covering contracting for security, Bryan Strawser covering actions taken in the incident of an active shooter, John Dickson covering adapting AppSec in a DevOps world, and more!

Here’s why you should attend: If you’re an infosec professional in the Midwest and you missed the Twin Cities event due to time or travel distance, then Secure360 Wisconsin is right for you! Located in Milwaukee, this event will be perfect for professionals located in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana, and will feature over 30 speakers and 30 sponsors to network with and learn from!

Student360

In 2016, the UMSA board also discussed and approved a student-focused infosec event that was catered to college students in the industry. In February 2017, the first Student360 event was hosted and had an even bigger attendance than expected—confirming the need for infosec events and discussions that were directed towards college students.

College students came from schools all across the state of Minnesota, and some even traveled from schools in Wisconsin to attend. We received plenty of positive feedback, with students excited to share how beneficial his event was.

Here’s why you should attend: From networking, career and resume help, and plenty of quality sessions on cyber security and risk management topics, this event is a must-attend for college students who are completing or have finished their degree.

Our 2018 event is already set for February 24 in Bloomington, Minnesota. Learn more here.

Secure360 Twin Cities

Secure360 Twin Cities is the original event—the professional conference of choice for comprehensive security and risk management education. This event is produced by the Upper Midwest Security Alliance (UMSA), the conference is excited to now be moving into its 13th year in 2018!

In 13 years, we’ve gone from a mere attendance of only 300 infosec professionals at the St. Paul RiverCentre to over 1,600 infosec professionals at the Minneapolis Convention Center!

Here’s why you should attend: If you are an infosec professional located in the upper Midwest, or even another location in the U.S., you can attend Secure360 Twin Cities 2018 to network with 1,600-2,000 other information security professionals, hear from 70+ industry-leading speakers and chat with over 100 of the top security companies in the field.
