Why:
In the U.S., 40,000 information security analyst jobs go unfilled every year, along with 200,000 other cybersecurity related roles. Simply put, there is a huge gap in the amount of jobs available and the amount of people qualified for those jobs. Out of all technology sectors, cybersecurity is the fastest growing. Combined, both of these factors are the reason why scholarships for the cybersecurity and risk-related fields are important. The demand for these professions requires education.
