For many, their summer soundtrack consists of upbeat playlists that are played just a little too loud during long commutes and road trips. For others, an informational podcast will do the trick. If you have any interest in the security industry, get a pen and a piece of paper to write down your carefully curated summer playlist of cybersecurity podcasts. No research required! We’ve already done it for you.

SANS Internet Storm Center Podcast

If you’re looking to stay informed during your daily commutes, check out this daily podcast. It consists up of 5-10 minute updates on daily infosec threat happenings. This podcast is bite sized and sure to keep you in the know.

Security Current Podcast

This podcast is exactly what it sounds like. Listen for bi-weekly updates in security as well as interviews, trends and the latest headlines.

Threatpost Digital Underground

You won’t want to miss these weekly episodes that address trending topics in security. Threatpost Digital is produced by Kaspersky Lab – so you know you can count on everything they have to say.

Take 1 Security Podcast

Daniel Miessler spends anywhere from 5 to 20 hours a week sorting through security news only to compile the best of it all into a 30-minute podcast for you to enjoy. As Miessler says, “The goal is to catch you up on current events, show you the best content from around the web, and hopefully give you something to think about as well.”

Risky Business

One surefire way to stay in the know about current security concepts is by listening to this podcast by Patrick Gray. Each podcast comes complete with show notes for you to reference after listening to each episode.

Data Driven Security

This bi-weekly show is produced by Bob Rudis and Jay Jacobs. Their podcast focuses on data analysis and visualization. With 30 episodes to choose from, you’ll stay busy all summer long.
