Are you ready for Student360? Here’s what you need to know!

September 27, 2021 by Secure360 and UMSA

Student360 is fast approaching! All of us at Secure360 and UMSA are excited to show you what we’ve been working on, and why we’ve built this conference to have its best year yet. But there are a few things you should know before the big day! Use this as your guide to make sure you’re prepared for what we’ve got in store for you at Student360 2021.

THE DETAILS:

Event Location: Hennepin Technical College – Eden Prairie Campus, 13100 College View Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55347

Event Time: 8:30am – 4pm CDT, Check in will open at 8am!

Parking: There are multiple parking lots and entrances to the Hennepin Tech Campus. Please remember to park on the West side of the parking lot in order to go through Door J1. Please see the map for additional directions!

WHAT TO BRING: You’ll be given a notebook and pen to take notes with, but you may bring either a laptop or tablet if you prefer typing out notes. Coffee, breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided to you, so there’s no need to bring in food. Also, don’t forget to bring at least one copy of your resume, printed on resume paper (not just printer paper).

  • Masks are required! Please plan accordingly.
  • Bring your resume! At Student360, you’ll learn from thought leaders in the cybersecurity, continuity and risk management industry, while building meaningful connections with the people who will make the difference in the years to come. One of the best ways to leverage these connections is by utilizing their expertise! Bring at least one copy of your resume, printed on resume paper if possible (not just printer paper). Onsite, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Resume Review with industry professionals. The Resume Review will happen in between breakout sessions, so you will not miss anything by participating.
  • Like any conference, there’s a dress code. Dressing to impress is always paramount to getting the most out of your experience. At Student360, you’ll be making first impressions with potential employers, colleagues and thought-leaders in the security industry, so note the dress code for this event is business casual. Please note that it will be required to wear a mask.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Free parking is available for students attending Student360 at Hennepin Technical College. After parking, check-in at the registration desk and get your name badge. The day begins with breakfast and an introduction by Nancy Brainerd, Deputy CISO of Medtronic.

From there, you will have the opportunity to tailor your security conference experience exactly to your liking, with three tracks that feature topics around soft skills, career skills and technical skills. Pre-plan your day by exploring the day’s schedule and all of the exciting sessions we have in store.

Lunch will also be provided onsite. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies that you did not note in your registration, please contact Marie Strawser.
