FBI Keynote: Cyber Threats, Investigations and Security

This keynote will present the current and emerging situations in cyber threats, cyber security, and the FBI’s investigation of these matters. Some of the particular threats Special Agent Jacob Foiles will cover will include botnets, ransomware, business email compromise/phishing, espionage and hactivism.

About Jacob Foiles, S.A.

Jacob is a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) currently assigned to the Cyber Task Force in the Omaha Division. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, has served as a network and systems engineer at a web hosting/data center company, and owned a Kansas City-based IT Consulting company. He attended the FBI Academy in 2014
