ISO22301: Not as Boring as It Sounds!

International Standards for Societal Security… just saying it is almost enough to put you to sleep. Luckily, the newest standard for Business Continuity Management Systems is anything but boring. Attend this presentation to learn how to understand ISO22301 in simple terms and apply it to your organization’s program in a way that will help you to understand and improve your company’s resilience. We’ll look at each section and talk about how to apply it to the daily work of business continuity and, potentially, an ISO22301 audit. Additionally, time will be spent looking at how it compares with NFPA 1600 and ASIS SPC.1-2009 for those applying a different standard to their work.

Key learning points:
  • Understanding and applying ISO22301.
  • Comparing ISO22301 to NFPA 1600 and ASIS SPC.1-2009.
  • Undergoing an ISO22301 audit.
