To share with attendees the role K9′s play in police work via a live demonstration. From protecting their handler, to searching for missing people or serving as a tool in the apprehension of bad guys these dogs play a vital role in safeguarding communities in the Twin Cities and beyond. Further, the role the Minneapolis Police K9 Foundation plays in raising awareness through community outreach and raising funds to help purchase dogs and other tools on an as needed basis.
