Information security has been collecting data for years and is just now starting to benefit from it. Join the author of “Data-Driven Security” as he walks through real world use cases that will take the attendee from the theory to the reality of learning from data. He will lay out the steps and frame the problem in each use case and then discuss the techniques and products (many open source) that can be used to tackle each use case. The attendee will walk away with a better appreciation of what data science is and the types of problems it can and can’t solve.
