Sharing a Proven Tabletop Exercise Format and Scenarios

Have your tabletops become stale? Are you struggling to engage your audience? This presentation will provide you with a tabletop format that has been used successfully for more than five years in a corporate environment across all audiences. In addition, a few prepared scenarios will be shared that may be used in most business environments with minor modifications. The session will close with a question and sharing session to discuss tips and tricks to engage tabletop audiences.

About Marie Strawser and Scott Mulert

Marie Strawser is a Manager within the Ameriprise Business Continuity Management team and an experienced business continuity professional. She has over 15 years of experience in developing and sustaining agile, comprehensive, flexible, scalable enterprise-wide continuity programs. Marie’s focus has been on developing and implementing business continuity lifecycles that enhance organizations’ capabilities to provide critical services at any time, regardless of the event and impact.

She is on the Board of Directors for BCPA – Business Continuity Planners Association. She is a founding member of UMSA– Upper Midwest Security Alliance – and is currently the Secure360 Expansion Conference Chair.

Scott Mulert is a Manager within the Ameriprise Business Continuity Management team.  Scott is an experienced Business Continuity and Crisis Management professional.  He has over ten years’ experience in developing and sustaining agile, comprehensive, flexible, scalable enterprise-wide continuity programs in corporate and governmental environments.  His focus has been on developing and implementing Continuity and Crisis Programs that manage the organization’s capabilities to provide critical services at any time, regardless of the event and impact.
