What You Don’t Know About White Collar Crime

Key Learning Points

  •  Understand fraud
  •  Protecting against fraud

Level: Basic

Are you familiar with White Collar Crime? Your company certainly is (they just may not realize it). Whether its embezzlement, insider trading, money laundering, business email compromise or intellectual property theft, it’s costing local companies millions of dollars a year in losses. And it doesn’t matter whether your company is large or small, fraud doesn’t discriminate.

You’ve probably heard Liz speak on Cyber Crime in the past. This presentation will have a similar message,” how can the FBI help you protect your company from criminal actions and financial loss?”. Only now, she will focus on the white collar side of things.

About SA Lizabeth Lehrkamp

SA Lizabeth Lehrkamp has been a Special Agent with the FBI for 11 years first in New Jersey, then in Minnesota. She has worked Italian Organized Crime but has spent the greater part of her FBI career in Cyber Crime. She has taken a breather from the IT Security world because, in her heart, she has always wanted to put plain old fraudsters in jail. Liz now works White Collar Crime matters and enjoys creating spreadsheets (who doesn’t love a good pivot table?) and following the money.
