Secure360

You’ve Been Hacked–Now What?

It’s one in the afternoon. A security analyst contacts one of your customer service reps with news that credit card data and other private customer information is accessible on your website. You’ve been hacked–now what?

This interactive presentation takes participants through a data breach scenario and how best to handle it. With the NIST Incident Response Life Cycle as a guide, attendees will work together as small groups and with Assurity River CEO Jeff Olejnik to determine the steps that need to be taken to isolate the incident; who needs to be involved and how; and what tools are available to successfully contain the data breach as the incident unfolds.

Key learning points:
  • How to Apply NIST IR Lifecycle to an Incident
  • Know Roles and Procedures that Need to be in Place
  • Opportunity to Execute an IRP in a Tabletop Situation
